Bac Giang establishes two new industrial clusters

(BGO) - The Bac Giang provincial People's Committee has just decided to establish two new industrial clusters namely Tien Hung (Luc Nam district) and Lang Cao (Tan Yen district) with a total area of 79.6 ha.

Of which, the Lang Cao Industrial Cluster is directly connected to the provincial road 298 – section from Bich Dong township (Viet Yen district) to Cao Thuong township (Tan Yen district). The infrastructure construction and business investor is Tan Yen Industrial Investment and Trading Service Joint Stock Company based in Cao Xa commune (Tan Yen). It is expected that the cluster’s infrastructure will be completed in 2022, with all of its industrial land area to be filled. Total investment for infrastructure construction is estimated at about 347.65 billion VND (15 million USD).

The Tien Hung Industrial Cluster is linked to the National Highway 37 - section passing through Luc Nam district and the provincial road 293. The infrastructure construction and business investor is Hung Long Company Limited (Bac Giang city). The project’s technical infrastructure is expected to be completed in September 2022, with all industrial land to be filled. Total investment is estimated at 308.64 billion VND (13.4 million USD).

The establishment of the two industrial clusters is hoped to attract secondary investors to production and business activities, creating a driving force for local socio-economic development and generating jobs for local workers.

The province is now home to 45 industrial clusters, of which 28 have been put into operation.
