Bac Giang focuses on building and developing concentrated vegetable growing area

(BGO) – According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD), by 2030 Bac Giang province focuses on building and developing about 77 concentrated vegetable growing areas with total area of 7,780 ha, including 18 high tech models.

To implement the task, the provincial DARD urged organizations, agencies and localities to persuade people and businesses to join the programme and projects of developing material and concentrated commodity production areas with big scale so as to gradually change the traditional cultivation habit.

The DARD will review and adjust the plan area for agriculture development, create more favourable condition and advantage than other localities to put into the land use plan of each area.

All methods are used to gather the field and land while diversifying the way to link the farmers, companies and cooperatives to step by step establish and develop concentrated and big scale material area to serve processing industry.

Preferential taxation policies will be sufficiently and timely implemented to investor to agriculture and rural fields in the province so as to create more job and raise the farmers’ income and state budget collection.

The province strongly encourages enterprises and cooperatives to invest in high tech farming models with application of advanced technology and key processes of the industrial revolution 4.0 into production, preservation and processing of agro-forestry and fishery products.

High tech businesses are developed in the province with priority taken to research, select, create, popularize and transfer new varieties basing on advanced and effective production procedures with application of biotechnology, digital technology and information in agriculture.
