Amid numerous difficulties, the province achieved active socio-economic results in May and in the first five months of this year. The industrial production was positively changed with industrial production value of 35,755 billion VND (1.5 billion USD) in May and 202,920 billion VND in 5 months (up 16.8 percent year on year).

Discussing at the event, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Tran Quang Tan informed that Bac Giang will start harvesting early ripening lychee in late May. The sector consulted and cooperated with localities to launch promotion event and connect for product consumption. Initially, many traders and businesses surveyed and inked contract to buy lychee.

After grasping actual situation and discussion at the meeting, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son urged all levels and sectors to focus on reviewing low socio-economic target in 2023 then working out specific solution to complete at highest effort.

The provincial leader ordered competent bodies to enhance budget collection, nurture the revenue source in association with expansion of collection base. He requested to accelerate the site work and project execution to disburse the public investment capital; balance the capital for each project to have suitable adjustment.

The sectors were asked to timely remove difficulties like order, labour; ensure power supply and issues relating to the plane and distribution for industrial production.

The tasks and measures must be synchronously implemented in lychee production with focal point to trade promotion activity, assistance to sell lychee. The power for business which manufactures material for lychee consumption must be prioritized.
