(BGO) – The
Plant Protection Agency has granted additional 12 lychee growing area codes
(GAC) to export to Australia and Thailand, reported Dang Van Tang, Head of the Plant
Production and Protection Division (Department of Agriculture and Rural
Development in Bac Giang province) on May 18.
Accordingly, the Plant Protection Agency issued 9 lychee GAC to export to Australia on total area of over 117.5 hectares for households in the communes of Phi Dien, Kien Lao, Quy Son (Luc Ngan district) and Dong Huu, Dong Vuong, Canh Nau (Yen The district), Phuc Hoa (Tan Yen district). They were the first to receive GAC to export to Australian market.

Three GAC were issued for Thailand market with total area of 42 hectares in the villages of Thi, Giua, Tan Long in Tan Trung commune (Tan Yen district).
So far, the province has had 19 lychee GAC to export to Thailand, 9 to Australia, 110 to China on total area of over 16,000 hectares, 37 to Japan on total area of over 297.4 hectares and 15 to the US on over 184.2 hectares.

Bac Giang promotes export of 1,500 tons of lychees to US
(BGO) - The
Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Giang on April 26 organized a teleconference to promote trade
connection and consumption of lychee and other potential products of the
province in the US market.
The event was connected to dozens of locations at home and abroad, including 12
in the US. From Bac Giang province, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's
Committee Phan The Tuan attended the conference.
