Bac Giang leads the country in Q1 economic growth
BAC GIANG - According to the Bac Giang Provincial Statistics Office, the GRDP in the first quarter of 2025 of Bac Giang province was estimated at 14.02%, the highest in the country.
Specifically, the province's economic growth in Q1 hit nearly 14.02%, the highest in the country and higher than the province's expected scenario.

Of which, the industry - construction was estimated to increase about 17.24%, particularly the industry increased by about 17.97%; agriculture, forestry and fishery increased 1.05%; services increased 5.79%.
Bac Giang's economic growth was gained mainly from industrial production, especially from foreign-invested enterprises expanding their production and business scale, increasing revenue.
In 2025, Bac Giang strives to achieve a growth target of 14-15%, higher than the target assigned by the Central Government (13.6%).
To complete the plan, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued directive documents on striving to complete the growth target in 2025.
Accordingly, agencies, units and localities were required to review and evaluate the practical situation, improve the capacity of analysis, forecast, timely response and effective solutions so as to complete and exceed 18 out of 18 main socio-economic development targets in 2025.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee assigned specific targets for each industry, field and locality together with developing growth scenarios for each quarter, 6 months and the whole year.
From now until the end of the year, Bac Giang will continue to improve the investment and business environment, attract projects and businesses to invest in the localities, create momentum for industrial development, maintain stable agricultural production and promote service development.
