Bac Giang organizes groundbreaking ceremony to build Tay Yen Tu bell tower building
The ceremony was attended by Duong Van Thai, member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Le Thi Thu Hong, permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council and Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet chaired the groundbreaking ceremony to build the bell tower building. According to the design plan, the bell tower will be located behind the ancestral building, in the middle of the 8,100 -square metre lake which will be shaped like a lotus.
The building will have 3 floors at the height of 3 metres and each roof direction consists of 12 curving angles. A special vase will be placed on the roof top. The floor area of the building is about 880 square metres.

The whole building will be made from iron wood carved with decorative patterns. The pillars are placed on solid green stones. The building foundation is made of reinforced concrete. The floor, balconies and stairs are also made from solid green stones carved with decorative patterns. The total fund for this building is estimated at more than 70 billion VND (3.1 million USD) mobilized from the society.
The construction of this bell tower plays an important role in building items of Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism complex.

In the master plan of Bac Giang province approved by the Prime Minister, Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism complex will be developed into a national tourist site, playing role as a driving force for tourism development of the province.
Previously, the delegates attended the Vesak celebration at Ha pagoda.
