The district has 10 safe vegetable growing areas in line with VietGAP standard and hi-tech farming models in several communes of Dong Phuc, Dong Viet, Duc Giang, Tien Dung, Canh Thuy, Tu Mai, Xuan Phu, Quynh Son and Tri Yen with total area of over 120 ha together with 50 models of hi-tech agriculture production covering 12 ha of net and membrane houses.

Besides, the district breeds more than 50,000 pigs (accounting for 93 percent of annual plan), nearly 9,000 buffaloes and cows (81 percent of the plan), nearly 825,000 heads of poultry (97 percent of the plan).

Many concentrated and close farming models have been established in the communes of Quynh Son, Yen Lu and Tien Dung…which can actively prepare the source of breed, linkage for production and product consumption…
