Bac Giang promptly implements support packages for people affected by Covid-19

(BGO) - Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFC) and Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) on April 27 afternoon jointly held an online conference to launch and supervise implementation of the policies to support people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Tran Thanh Man, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President VFFC, Dao Ngoc Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, MoLISA Minister and Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President and Secretary General of VFFC co-hosted the conference.

In Bac Giang, Le Anh Duong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and Tran Cong Thang, member of the provincial Standing Party Committee, President of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended the conference.

At the conference, the participants were provided with contents of the Resolution No 42 dated April 9, 2020 of the Government and Prime Minister’s Decision on implementation of the policies to support people facing difficulties due to Covid-19 pandemic.

In line with implementation of the Resolution No 42, the VFFC’s Standing Board provided guidance about 8 contents supervising implementation of the supporting policies.

Addressing the conference, Tran Thanh Man and Dao Ngoc Dung stressed the Resolution No 42 expressed due attention of the Party and State leaders to the citizens. The localities need to promptly and properly implement these policies with involvement of the state, enterprises and community.

Right after the conference, the provincial Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong urged the departments, sectors and localities to thoroughly grasp the Central’s direction and urgently put the policy into life.

Particularly, the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and Department of Finance were requested to work out the provincial plan. The provincial Fatherland Front Committee needs to immediately implement supervision in each level and sector with participation of the National Assembly Deputies in the province at the provincial level. Besides, supervision must be in line with providing support.
