The donors included Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation (500 million VND or 21,300 USD); Dai Nam Ong Bien Joint Stock Company (25 tonnes of rice worth 300 million VND or 12,800 USD); Facebook group “San bat dong san Bac Giang” (Bac Giang’s platform of real estate) (3 tonnes of rice and 1,100 medical face masks totally worth 55 million VND); Tan Xuyen JSC (20 million VND); the Association of Bac Giang fellowmen in Czech (20 million VND); Vifoco Import Export JSC (10 millionVND); Trade union at Bac Giang Medical College (10 million VND); Dai Duong Auction Group (10 million VND); the Association of Bac Giang fellowmen in Macao (China) (7 million VND).

Leaders of the provincial FFC and Department of Health receive the donation from Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation.

Total value of the donation on April 15 hit nearly 1 billion VND (42,675 USD).

Also at the event, 6 collectives and individuals with active donations (cash and medical materials) in pandemic prevention and control in the province were granted with Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

The FFC Chairman Tran Cong Thanh hands over the Certificate of Merit bestowed by the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee to the collectives and individual with active contribution to Covid-19 combat.

They are Lam Son Trading and Construction Co.,Ltd; Tan Thing Construction Co.,Ltd; Luxshare –ICT Co.,Ltd; Foxconn Technology Group; Bac Giang Garment Corporation JSC; family of Nguyen Thi Ha Chau and Nguyen The Cuong, President of Thach Ban Group and owner of Thach Mon Trang farm in Xuong Lam commune (Lang Giang district).

Bac Giang blood donation festival receives 100 safe blood units

(BGO) – The Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) Festival was launched on February 16 by the Steering Board for VBD in the northern province of Bac Giang at the Building B of the provincial Inter-Agency Headquater.

Red Spring festival: Vietnam’s biggest blood donation campaign

Launched in 2008, the annual Red Spring festival has seen 215,000 blood donors through the previous 12 editions, with 78,620 blood units collected. This year, it takes place from February 11 to 22.
