Bac Giang secures overall second ranking at National Youth Badminton Championships

(BGO) - The National Youth Badminton Championships was organized at the Sports Competition Hall in Kien An district, Hai Phong province from October 5 - 11, 2020, drawing 21 delegations with 136 athletes (84 men and 52 women).

The athletes competed in 6 contents at the age group of U19, including men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, women’s doubles, mixed team.

The women duo (center) are awarded with gold medal at the championships.

13 athletes of Bac Giang delegation (5 men and 8 women) joined the event. After 1 week competition, the young players in Bac Giang province won 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals to secure overall second ranking after Ho Chi Minh city.

The gold winners were Than Van Anh and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan in the category of women’s doubles.
