Bac Giang showcases 3 specialty booths at International Food Festival

(BGO) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 12 held the 2019 International Food Festival in Hanoi, featuring around 130 booths representing the foreign embassies to Vietnam,  foreign relations departments, foreign cultural centres in Vietnam, department of foreign affairs in localities and several enterprises across the nation. 

This year, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DoFA) in Bac Giang province showcased 3 booths with the accompany from two cooperatives to promote and introduce the provincial signature products.

Visitors at the International Food Festival.

Luu Chanh Cooperative in Truong Son commune, Luc Nam district displayed yellow flower tea, lingzhi, cheo mushroom, morinda officinalis, purple morinda officinalis and honey while Luc Ngan Fruit Cooperative introduced yellow flesh orange, sweet orange, sweet pomelo, honey lemon syrup, Luc Ngan dried lychee, rice cracker and Chu rice noodle.

Besides, DoFA exhibited several products of fresh shiitake, oyster mushrooms, pleurotus eryngii, rice flake cake, rice cake, mung bean pudding...

Several products of Bac Giang are introduced at the Festival.

The annual event is a chance to enhance the cultural exchange and mutual understanding among the countries while introducing Vietnamese land and people to international friends via the Embassies and Foreign Cultural Centers.

Joining the festival, the enterprises promoted the trademarks, services and commodities to the international visitors.

The booth showcases products of Luc Ngan Fruit Cooperative.

Adding to introduce the cultural identities and culinary of various regions and areas in several countries, the International Food Festival called for donation to sponsor the orphan, children with disabilities and those living in specially difficult circumstances as well as poor women across the nation.
