Bac Giang strives to increase budget collection in last months

(BGO) – Implementing the Ministry of Finance’s guidance to boost up the management to realize the local financial and budget tasks in the last months of this year, the Taxation Department of Bac Giang province has submitted the document to consult the provincial People’s Committee to monitor the state budget collection.

Accordingly, the provincial Taxation Department (PTD) will strictly supervise the budget collection progress; assess and analyze in detail each locality, region and tax; define the potential sources of collection, fields, taxes so as to timely use effective management method, enhance the collection management, accelerate the measure to prevent any loss of budget collection.

The PTD enhances to supervise the tax declaration control over the tax payer; ensure to manage all organizations and individuals with production and business activities in the province while timely handling any violated case.

Particularly, the PTD will expedite the districts and city to boost up the schedule of land use auction and early handle the obstacle of land use debt; thoroughly manage the debt collection and tax debt enforcement; enhance the effectiveness of tax inspection and check, control the activities of construction, erection and frequent property business outside the province in the area; accelerate the administrative reform, simplify the taxation administrative procedure to facilitate the tax payer.

About 700,000 firms to benefit from cut in corporate income tax
About 700,000 enterprises are expected to enjoy a cut in corporate income tax (CIT) to between 15-17 percent from July 1 this year, down from the current rate of 20 percent.
