At a conference to review the progress of the projects to build infrastructure of the industrial clusters hosted by the provincial Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan, many obstacles have been removed while recommendations and proposals sharply decreased compared to previous sessions.

According to the investor of Thanh Van industrial cluster (Hiep Hoa district), this industrial cluster covers an area of 50 hectares. Several investors applied for renting land here in 2021 but the inadequate land clearance lost the opportunity for investment attraction. Then, thanks to engagement of the local government, most of the land area in this industrial cluster has been cleared. Currently, the industrial cluster is invested with integrated infrastructure to welcome secondary investors.

Apart from Thanh Van industrial cluster, many others have been completed land clearance such as Tang Tien, Viet Tien (Viet Yen district), Tan Hung (Lang Giang district), Noi Hoang, Nham Son-Yen Lu and Yen Lu (Yen Dung district). Thus, the province decided to bring 7 out of 25 industrial clusters invested by the enterprises out of the list of monitoring.

Evaluating this result, the provincial Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan stressed, the people’s committee of the districts, city and the related departments , authorites have paid attention to accelerating the investment progress of the industrial clusters in the province, especially land clearance, land handover and land lease. This demonstrated that the localities have actively implemented the province’s direction and paid attention to recommendations of the enterprises.

However, many industrial clusters still face difficulties in land clearance. In order to remove the investors’ obstacles, the provincial Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan urged the departments, authorities and localities to urgently boost implementation of the plan to build infrastructure of the industrial clusters in the locality, regularly check upon the progress to report the provincial leaders and propose timely solutions.

The investors need to accelerate infrastructure construction progress of the industrial clusters and foster attracting secondary investors to lure investment to the industrial clusters.
