(BGO) – The voluntary blood donation (VBD) campaign on Lunar
New Year and “Red Spring Festival 2021” will be launched from January 1 to
March 15, 2021 under the theme of “Donating blood on early Spring – Multiplying
happiness” in the northern province of Bac Giang.
On the occasion, the Steering Committee for VBD at all levels have focused on communicating and calling for people to strive to donate 3,600 safe blood units while mobilizing 200 volunteers to persuade and care for the blood donors.

Many officers and staff at the provincial Public Security force join voluntary blood donation.

10 districts and city are instructed to establish the backup teams willing to give blood so as to ensure the necessary volume of preserved blood for emergency and treatment for patients on Lunar New Year. Particularly, the province level will arrange a backup team with 60 members on duty 24 hour per day.
This year, the provincial Steering Board for VBD selects “Red Sunday” to open the VBD campaign on Tet holiday and “Red Spring Festival”.
As schedule, the launching ceremony will be held on January 10, 2021 in Tan Yen district and later on in 10 districts and city to strive to meet the set plan.

Teacher proves bright model of blood donation
(BGO) – Teacher Giap
Van Quynh (born in 1978) in Bao Dai Secondary School is not only good at his
professional work but also active in voluntary campaigns. He has donated blood
23 times and honored with Certificate of Merit form the Chairman of the provincial
People’s Committee at the ceremony to honor outstanding blood donors in 2020.
Widespreading good deed from blood donating families and relatives

ranks top in the Northern provinces for the result of voluntary blood donation
(VBD) thanks to great contribution from the outstanding blood donating families
and relatives in the localities across the province.
Nguyen Xuan Lam sets good example of voluntary blood donation
(BGO)- As telling us about his
first time donating blood 14 years ago, Nguyen Xuan Lam (born in 1981),
Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Viet Tien commune, Viet Yen
district, Bac Giang province said, “At that time, I was also nervous like other
people. After that, I realized donating blood did not affect my health while I
could do a good deed to help others, thus I continue donating blood for many
times”.
