The project “Building IOT Environmental Remote Sensing system at school by using recycle solar energy” in the field of environmental technique invented by Nguyen Minh Dang and Nguyen Duc Thang at Tran Phu Secondary School (Bac Giang city) won fourth prize.
Previously, two projects were awarded first prize by the provincial Department of Education and Training at the provincial Science and Technology Contest for High School Students in academic year 2021 – 2022 held in January 2022.
Arising from the demand to serve Covid-19 patients and people suffering from heart diseases, Le Hoang Khoa and Nguyen Tuan Dung used knowledge of Physics and Biology to research and invent the heart beat and blood oxygen sensor with accuracy, multi-indication and alarm function on led light and sound.

The small device was researched and invented basing on programmed circuit and software on computer that is connected to the sensor to collect signals on heartbeat, blood oxygen then indicate result for users. It is very useful with 5V DC power supply that is safe for children and older person.
Group of inventors Nguyen Minh Dang and Nguyen Duc Thang wished the project of “Building IOT Environmental Remote Sensing system at school by using recycle solar energy” to observe, measure and evaluate the quality of air, dust concentration and sound level at school can alarm and help protect environment sustainably.
The system is integrated between environmental remote sensor and sound sensor which are operated by solar energy and connected to smartphone to ease the monitoring task.

This year Contest attracted 71 agencies with 144 projects of 273 students, including 129 projects of high school, 15 projects of secondary school. The organization board handed over 12 first prizes, 15 second prizes, 17 third prizes and 27 fourth prizes.
For recent six years, the Department of Education and Training in Bac Giang province has regularly joined the event with prizes.
It is the tenth event of its kind launched by the Ministry of Education and Training for high school students to create useful playground for them to share and exchange experiences, boost up scientific research and technology creative movement to apply school subjects into handling practical issues of life.
