Bac Giang to receive 500 people back from epicenters HCMC, Binh Duong, Dong Nai by September 6
Accordingly, total 2,475 people expressed the wish to return home as of August 26 through the Bac Giang Associations of Fellow Countrymen in HCMC, Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces and Bac Giang portal.
All of the returnees from HCMC and southern provinces have to undergo 14-day centralized quarantine. |
According to Nguyen Tien Coi, DOLISA’s Director, the province is expected to receive about 500 returnees this time depending on capacity of each district and city for centralized isolation and medical conditions. Particularly, Bac Giang city will receive 50 people, Hiep Hoa district will receive 54 people, Lang Giang district will receive 28 people, Luc Nam district will receive 126 people, Luc Ngan district will receive 60 people, Son Dong district will receive 35 people, Tan Yen district will receive 40 people, Viet Yen district will receive 35 people, Yen Dung district will receive 50 people and Yen The district will receive 22 people.
Bac Giang province will take citizens home by airplanes. The ticket fares this time (about some 1 billion VND (44,150 USD)) are funded from the enterprises, donors and the provincial budget.
In order to receive residents back by September 6, DOLISA will continue collaborating with the Bac Giang Associations of Fellow Countrymen in HCMC, Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces and the districts and city to double check before make the detailed list ensuring right order of priority.
All of the returnees from HCMC and southern provinces have to undergo 14-day centralized quarantine and 7-day home quarantine after finishing centralized quarantine. They have to pay for all the fees during the centralized quarantine period.
Based on the pandemic situations, regulated social distancing measures, registration of the citizens and real situations of the localities, the people’s committee of the districts and city are required to revise, appraise and make the list of citizens to report the provincial People’s Committee for consideration to take them back for the next campaigns.
