Bac Giang well prepares for Tet
At the meeting, the related agencies reported and discussed on major duties until the end of Lunar New Year Festival 2020 (or Tet).

The province’s socio-economic situation in January sees good news with stable industrial production. Agricultural production stays on track while the farm produce enjoys favourable consumption.
The commodity market is kept stable ensuring supply for Tet occasion. Preparation for Tet is paid high attention. The market management agency has launched the campaign to check and control the market preventing smuggled and low-quality goods by the end of January.
According to representative of the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, gifts prepared for the policy beneficiaries have been sent to the locals.
Regarding security and social order, Captain Nguyen Quoc Toan, Director of the provincial Department of Public Security shared, thieves and criminals face complicated happenings while traffic violations and illegal trading of fire crackers tend to increase at the end of the year. The provincial Public Security Department will pay high attention to patrolling, cracking down on crime, strictly punishing organizations and individuals violating traffic regulations and social orders on Tet occasion.
PPC permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son agreed with the duties planed by the sectors for the New Year of the Rat. He noted that the provincial Department of Industry and Trade should continue supervising the pricing and commodity circulation.
He requested the State Bank, Bac Giang branch to direct the commercial banks to facilitate enterprises taking part in price stabilization and accessing to credit resources, ensure cash resource for Tet and avoid overloading at the ATM places.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development needs to pay attention to guiding breeders to re-organise farming and ensure safety after the epidemic, well fulfill the production plan in spring crop and prevent forest fire.

The Department of Transportation is required to direct the related units to ensure traffic safety on the roads, bridges and ferries.
The Department of Public Security is requested to launch high campaigns to crack down on crime, ensure traffic safety and strictly punish violations of the law against drunk driving. It is prohibited to produce, trade, store and transport explosives and fireworks ensuring a happy and safety Tet festival for the people.
The Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism is required to collaborate with the localities to effectively organize festival activities.
The Department of Information and Communication needs to well implement advocacy and ensure cyber security.
Other competent agencies are requested to supervise salary and bonus payment for labourers, organise sudden inspection on implementation of the food safety regulations, well organise activities to visit and present gifts to poor households ensuring “Tet for all people”.
