Starting his work at the Domestic Security Division in 2012, he took on duty in the field of religious security, proposing plans and measures to mobilize the masses when there are order and security situations.
Three years being appointed by the leaders of the division to act as a scout directly monitoring Son Dong district, Vu and his colleagues have faced many difficulties. In early 2018, the unit had a working trip to Khe Sau, Yen Dinh commune (Son Dong).
At that time, Khe Sau was a complicated point in terms of security and order stemming from forestry land disputes with some households in Da Vach village, Phu Nhuan commune (Luc Ngan district).
In an area inhabited by ethnic minorities such as Son Dong, prestigious people in the community play a very important role in the lives of the people. Understanding this core thing, Vu has often met and exchanged with prestigious people to build a network for the movement “all people unite to protect the national security. Over the past four years, he has been involved in solving many complex cases.
Not only being good at work, he has also actively participated in activities such as voluntary blood donation, implementing youth works, and giving advice on training and martial arts practice in his unit.
In 2019, he was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Public Security and two certificates of merit by the Director of the provincial Public Security Agency for his outstanding achievements in the campaign "Building up the style of the people’s brave and humane public security officer serving the people". He is also a typical example in studying and following Uncle Ho's example.

For effective communication, Huyen and her colleagues have directly surveyed, repaired and equipped brand identity tools at the transaction point in the center of Bac Giang city. At the same time, she has regularly monitored and recommended advertising contents on large outdoor billboards; while making news, articles, photos and clips posted on Bac Giang Newspaper and the provincial Television and Radio Station.
Using social network proficiently, she has been assigned to administer the fanpage and website of the center, regularly updating information, giving advice and supporting customers.
In 2019, Huyen chaired and participated in the implementation of three initiatives, with two of them proposed to be recognized at the corporation level. These are "Great communication effectiveness from sponsoring the second Football Tournament 2018 of the Bac Giang Telephone Association" and "Building an internal training programme for heads of units, tellers and sales staff on customer service quality and bowing culture".
Particularly, the initiative "Organizing sales activities and effective communication of VNPT Vinaphone services through activities of the VNPT Bac Giang Youth Union" has brought significant values to the unit.
In June 2019, she advised the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the provincial Business Bloc to include communication content on products of VNPT Bac Giang in events and volunteer activities of the units in the bloc.
After applying this initiative, the unit has developed hundreds of post paid and prepaid subcribers and successful network transfers. At the same time, she has introduced and promoted the services of VNPT Bac Giang to thousands of youth union members in businesses and organizations.
