The final round consisted five matches at mixed doubles, women’s doubles and singles, men’s doubles singles categories.

In final mixed doubles event, Bac Giang duo Pham Van Hai - Than Van Anh were defeated by Hanoi duo Do Tuan duc - Pham Nhu Thao with score of 9-21 and 17 - 21.

Meal while, Tran Thi Phuong Thuy of Bac Giang delegation lost the chance of women’s singles gold medal for number one female player of Vietnam Nguyen Thuy Linh (Dong Nai province) with the score of 10 - 21 and 15-21.

Completing the tournament, Bac Giang athletes won two silvers and two bronzes as the set target.

The silver medallists were duo Pham Van Hai - Than Van Anh at mixed doubles event and Tran Thi Phuong Thuy at women’s singles category.

Two bronze medals were awarded to duo Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan - Than Van Anh at women’s doubles event and Tran Quoc Khanh at individual men content.

Concluding the event, the Organization Board awarded five sets of medals at various contents to excellent players.

The final match of mixed doubles event between Bac Giang duo Pham Van Hai - Than Van Anh were defeated by Hanoi duo Do Tuan duc - Pham Nhu Thao.

The National Badminton Championship 2022 for Excellent Players took place from April 11 - 17 with 141 athletes from 16 provinces, cities and sectors across the nation.

The athletes competed at five categories of men's singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles. Each player is allowed to join at most two contents. 15 outstanding members of Bac Giang delegation participate in five events.

It provided the chance for members of national badminton team to complete the technique, strategy and physical strength for SEA Games 31 to be held in Bac Giang city in the middle of May.
