BAC GIANG - In 2024, factories in Bac
Giang province need to recruit more than 100,000 labourers, mostly to work at electronics
and garment industries. In order to retain skilled employees, attract new human
resources, create cohesion and improve production efficiency, many business
owners pay due attention to the material and spiritual rights of the workers.
According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the whole province currently has more than 7,600 operating enterprises, creating stable jobs for about 306,200 people. The number of labourers working in industrial parks hit 190,300 people. The average income of employees at foreign-invested enterprises is 8-12 million VND per person per month while highly skilled workers earn 15-20 million VND per person per month.

More than 190,000 labourers resume normal work at industrial parks
BAC GIANG – As
of February 19 (the 10th day of the first lunar month), more than
190,000 laborers resumed normal work at the industrial parks in Bac Giang
province after Tet holiday, reaching nearly 100%, reported the Department of
Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Over 2.6 million USD to support Hanoi needy labourers on Tet occasion
The Hanoi Federation of Labour plans to provide support for over 115,000 trade unionists and labourers living in difficult circumstances in the city on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival, with a total amount of 65 billion VND (2.65 million USD), according to the federation’s Chairman Pham Quang Thanh.
Bac Giang inks cooperation agreements with 5 partners on welfare programmes for labourers
BAC GIANG- The
Provincial Confederation of Labour has signed cooperation agreements on social
welfare programmes for trade union members and labourers with 5 partners in
Hanoi including Bell Duc Company Limited, Hogi Group International Trade Joint
Stock Company, Minh Phuc ASIA Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Tre Viet Clinic
belonging to Hai Nam Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Join Stock Company and
Vietnam Association of Household Ceramics.
Labour export targets high quality market
BAC GIANG - In 2023, the northen province
of Bac Giang surpasses the set target of labor export. This is made by the joint effort of the Labor,
War Invalids and Social Affairs sector and localities to exploit a number of
new markets toward high quality ones.
