– On April 28, Bac Giang Newspaper published article named “Miserable life of cancer
mother raising small kid” to reflect the specially difficult circumstance of
Tran Thi Cong in Bien Duoi hamlet, Bien Dong commune, Luc Ngan district (Bac
Giang province). She got married for years but yet to have any children.
Three years ago, she and her husband adopted a new born baby. The happiness could not last long because their health condition became worse and worse. After health examination, both of them were diagnosed with cancer.

The life was so miserable when they have a small kid, suffer from critical disease without any savings. Her husband has recently passed away.
Thanks for the published article on Bac Giang Newspaper and face book, several kind-hearted people and charity groups in and outside the province supported her family with nearly 100 million VND (4,200 USD).
However, this is only a small amount that cannot help her afford the debt, treat the disease and pay for living. The poor woman and kid truly need the community’s support.

Giang. As one of 5 founders of the project “Book and Action” launched in 2013,
he became its Chairman in 2018. The project has established 260 book clubs with
more than 5,000 members in the universities and colleges across 29 provinces
and cities.
