BAC GIANG- On March 26 evening, the people’s committee of Luc Ngan district in northern province of Bac Giang kicked off the 2024 Cultural and Sports Festival of the ethnic groups at the district’s central square.

Luc Ngan is a mountainous district located in the northeast of the province which has 28 communes, towns and 8 ethnic groups including Kinh, Tay, Nung, Cao Lan, San Diu, San Chi, Dao and Hoa, of which ethnic minorities account for 49 percent of the district population.

Chu Van Trong, permanent Vice Chairman of the district people’s committee hits the drum to open the festival.
