The representatives confirmed encouraging results in several fields in May and for the first 5 months of 2020 despite many difficulties were caused by Covid-19 pandemic. Most of the production, business and living activities gained normal status gradually.

According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DoNRE), basically the People’s Committee in the districts and city persuaded the residents and handled the obstacles to ask them declare and make the list for preparing the profile for compensation methods to support the site work at the undone projects.

The provincial competent agencies proved that the administrative handling document at level 3 and 4 in May and for the first 5 months was much lower than last year (33.9 percent), the document using postal service was slightly higher which was one of the reason leading to lower score of the provincial competitiveness index recently.

After listening to the discussion, the PPC Chairman Duong Van Thai concluded that the province now focuses on two key tasks of boosting up the production and business as well as well prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic.

Firstly, the local departments, sectors and localities should well promote the lychee consumption, prevent the natural disasters and handle any claim from citizen.

The provincial leader urged them to be more strict in the site work and compensation for the key projects and items while paying attention to the traffic infrastructure projects, urban areas, especially the industrial parks and clusters so as to create more and more clean land sources to welcome the upcoming new investment wages.

The DoNRE should promptly review and add the plan of exploitation mines for soil, construction material, sand, stones in the river to have stricter control method.

Regarding the administrative reform, the PPC Chairman informed that the province will discuss more thorough measure to enhance 4 indices relating to the PCI and PAR Index.

Bac Giang approves for project to build Ben Mong bridge from Japan’s aid

(BGO) – The Chairman of the People’s Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang on April 15, 2020 issued Decision No.732/QD-UBND to approve for the project to build Ben Mong bridge in Luc Son commune, Luc Nam district from the aid sponsored by Embassy of Japan in Vietnam. 

Bac Giang approves for construction project of CE Link Vietnam 2 factory

(BGO) – The Management Board of industrial park in Bac Giang province (Management Board) has approved for CE Link Vietnam Company Limited (CE Link Vietnam) to execute the investment project to build CE Link Vietnam 2 factory at a part of lot CNSG-04 and CNSG-06 in Van Trung industrial park (IP) (Viet Yen district).

(BGO) – The international logistics infrastructure and warehouse project in Bac Giang city was constructed in Song Khe commune (Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province) by the investors of Hoang Phuc Investment & Management Company Limited and Hai Trinh Hai Nam Asset Management Joint Stock Company (China) with the representative as BacGiang International Logistics Co.,Ltd.   

Bac Giang attracts 12 investment projects in first two months

(BGO) – In February 2020, Bac Giang province attracted 8 investment projects including 4 domestic projects with total registered capital of over 150 billion VND (6.4 million USD), up 51.5 percent comparing to the same period last year and 4 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects totally worth 53.5 million USD (making 5.3 folds increase).
