An urban transport development project was inaugurated in the northern port city of Hai Phong on May 3.
The event took place on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30), the 130th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19) and the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong.

Accordingly, gross investment for the project is US$251.55 million, including over US$175 million in international development assistance.
Construction sites included An Duong, Kien An, Le Chan, Ngo Quyen and Hai An districts. The construction period was from December 2013 to February 2020.
The project is expected to help reduce the travel time between the eastern part of Hai Phong (Hai An district) and the western part of the city (An Duong district).
The new route will also increase connectivity between urban districts such as Kien An, Le Chan and Ngo Quyen, as well as shorten travel time from Vinh Bao, Tien Lang and An Lao districts to the inner city area, particularly in relation to freight transport between Hai Phong city and localities in the northern region.
Bac Giang approves for construction project of CE Link Vietnam 2 factory

Board of industrial park in Bac Giang province (Management Board) has approved
for CE Link Vietnam Company Limited (CE Link Vietnam) to execute the investment
project to build CE Link Vietnam 2 factory at a part of lot CNSG-04 and CNSG-06
in Van Trung industrial park (IP) (Viet Yen district).

in the first three month, the province drew more than 160 million USD of investment
amid the difficulties caused by many factors.

(BGO) – In February 2020, Bac Giang
province attracted 8 investment projects including 4 domestic projects with
total registered capital of over 150 billion VND (6.4 million USD), up 51.5
percent comparing to the same period last year and 4 foreign direct investment (FDI)
projects totally worth 53.5 million USD (making 5.3 folds increase).
