Five Meritorious Teachers in Bac Giang province

BAC GIANG – Wholeheartedly dedicating to teaching career, striving to overcome difficulties, innovating and contributing to building the school community and the education sector; arousing the spirit of eagerness to study, forming good abilities and qualities of students are the highlights of five Meritorious Teachers of Bac Giang province who have just been honored.

Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Van Doa (born 1979) is the Deputy Head of the Physics Group in Bac Giang High School for the Gifted (BGHSG) with 22 years of teaching experience.

Before teaching at BGHSG, he had worked for 7 years at his hometown school in a difficult area of ​​Nghia Phuong commune (Luc Nam district). He always brings all his enthusiasm, responsibility and love for the profession along with the school community and colleagues to lead his junior classes to discover and conquer the peaks of knowledge.

So far, the efforts in researching, teaching and learning of teacher and students have been rewarded with high achievements of 68 excellent students at the national level, including 8 First prizes, 24 Second prizes, 36 Third prizes. In particular, in the regional and world arenas, his students won 6 prestigious medals (2 International Gold and Silver Medals, 1 Asian Gold Medal, 1 Asian Silver Medal, 1 Asian Bronze Medal, 1 European Silver Medal). Doa's contributions and achievements in teaching have been recognized and honored with many noble titles and awards such as 7 titles of Emulation Soldier at the provincial and grassroots levels, 13 titles of excellent teacher at the provincial level; 22 certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Minister of Education and Training, Prime Minister among others.

Meritorious Teacher Ong Thi Quy Nham (born 1972) lives in Voi town (Lang Giang district with 22 years of teaching Fine Arts at the elementary level. She is now teaching at Xuong Lam Primary School (Lang Giang).

The love for the profession and children has motivated her to devote a lot of enthusiasm to teaching, especially to deeply research, innovate and create 8 scientific research initiatives and topics at district, provincial levels and ministerial level. She was invited to participate in compiling many books, textbooks, and professional documents.

Her dedication and contributions have been recognized with 7 Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Minister of Education and Training, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Provincial Labor Confederation; 20 titles of Emulation Soldier, excellent teacher at all levels.

Meritorious Teacher Bui Van Huong (born 1977) is a Math teacher. He used to teach at Tan Hoa Secondary School (Luc Ngan) for 4 years before returning to work at My Ha Secondary School (Lang Giang) in his hometown.

During 26 years of teaching students, Huong always sets a bright model for devoting to the career and students as well as coordinating closely with parents to promptly support and nurture the young generation.

For many consecutive years, teacher Huong has won the title of excellent teacher and emulation soldier at the provincial and grassroots levels; several Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Minister of Education and Training, Prime Minister among others.

The district's team of 9th grade Math excellent students who participated in the provincial excellent student contest ranked first in the province for many years.

Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyet (born 1975) is from My Ha commune (Lang Giang). Before joining Tien Luc Primary School, she worked at Nghia Hung Primary School for a while.

During 29 years of teaching students, she pays due attention to innovating methods and promoting students' abilities, initiative, creativity and cooperation in learning. Besides being homeroom teacher, she is active in fostering students who are good at Math and Vietnamese by encouraging, guiding and helping them achieve their best results.

For many years in a row, her students have achieved excellent student awards at the provincial and district levels.

Her enthusiasm and contributions have been recognized by 17 titles of Emulation Soldier at grassroots level and Excellent Teacher at the district level, 6 titles of Emulation Soldier and Excellent Teacher at the Provincial level; many Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Meritorious Teacher Pham Thi Thuy (born 1976) is currently working at Canh Thuy Primary School (Yen Dung). Loving her profession, Thuy is always proactive in studying to improve her qualifications, researching and renovating teaching and testing method to raise the quality of teaching and meet the requirements of educational innovation.

Teacher Thuy has participated in 6 national appraisal councils to evaluate circulars on student evaluation, textbooks and general education programs in 2018. With reputation and professional capacity, in recent years, she has been invited by Vietnam Education Publishing House to participate in writing Vietnamese exercise books for grades 2, 3, 4, 5 with great authors as well as reading smart Vietnamese learning materials.

For 25 consecutive years, she has achieved title of excellent teacher at the district and provincial levels. She has been honored as Emulation Soldier at the grassroots and provincial levels for years together with many Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Labor Federation, Bac Giang Education Union, Chairman of Yen Dung District People's Committee among others.
