However, he is always humble when talking about himself, saying that the achievements and titles achieved are the collective results, thanks to the hard work and continuous efforts of the school's teachers and students.

Born and grown up in Nghia Phuong commune, Luc Nam district, Doa has 21 years working as a teacher. He trained many excellent students in Physics. He said he love Physics and was fortunate to have his high school homeroom teacher who taught this subject, so he had many opportunities to learn and receive encouragement from the teacher.
At the Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, the way the staff and teachers work, the teaching requirements, goals, tasks as well as the students are completely different.

Students at this school have intelligent qualities and a passion for the subject they choose to pursue. That is a favorable factor for teachers, but to instruct and accompany them on a challenging learning journey, it requires teachers to constantly research, approach, and explore new horizons of knowledge with students. Teaching at the school for the gifted also requires teachers to exert great efforts.
In recent years, ‘spearhead’ education has received increasing attention from provincial leaders and education sector, with practical encouragement policies in place. Students selected to the teams to participate in exams for excellent students as well as the teachers, especially those who train the teams, are provided with favorable conditions in teaching and learning. That attention and the efforts of teachers and students have reaped sweet fruits.
Of 14 years of working at the Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, Doa has 12 consecutive years of training the Physics team of Bac Giang province to take part in the national exam. The team has always obtained stable results over the years, with the number of students winning prizes reaching 75-100%. Thanks to that, the team has been qualified to increase from 6 to 8 and now 10 students.
From 2011 to 2022, the Physics team trained by him won a total of 51 national prizes including four first, 15 second and 32 third prizes. In particular, in 2018, student Trinh Duy Hieu, an 11th grader majoring in Physics, who was directly taught by Doa, pocketed a gold medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad and a silver at the International Physics Olympiad.
