(BGO) – Lychee harvest crop is coming to the
end of harvest season. The consumption has been basically done with high
selling price.
According to Luc Ngan district Division of Economy and Infrastructure, as of July 8, the district sold over 120,000 tonnes of lychees, accounting for over 115 percent of the target.

Due to local climate and geological condition, lychees grown in highland localities of Ho Dap, Tan Son, Son Hai, Cam Son, Phong Minh and Sa Ly are ripe later.
Thi Van Ba in Khuon Trang village, Ho Dap commune happily said: “My family has sold over 10 tonnes of lychees. About 2 tonnes more will be harvested in few days. The fruit consumption is smooth in late season and the traders directly buy the lychee at the garden with average price of 20 – 25,000 VND per kg, even sometimes 32,000 VND per kg”.
Meanwhile family of Lai Van Minh in Heo A village, Ho Dap commune said he sold over 20 tonnes out of 30 tonnes of lychees this season.
“Because of few quantity, most of traders drive truck to buy lychee at the garden with average price of 18 – 25,000 VND per kg. My family has over 10 tonnes of lychee left which will be sold out in one week,” Minh shared.
