Many sponsors donate medical materials and food for Bac Giang province to fight against Covid-19 pandemic

(BGO) – On April 10, Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) Tran Cong Thang and leader of the Department of Health received the donated material and expenses for Covid-19 prevention and control at the FFC’s office.

The donors included Bac Giang branch of An Huy Real Estate Joint Stock Company (50 million VND or 2,100 USD); Habok Company Limited (50 million VND); the Association of Bac Giang’s Scientist in Hanoi (30 million VND); Bac Giang Trading JSC (20 million VND); Hau Cam Trading and Service Co.Ltd in Bac Giang city and Hai Phong branch of Daikin Vietnam (20 million VND); Hau Cam Trading and Service Co.Ltd in Bac Giang city and Panasonic Vietnam Co.,Ltd (10 million VND); Khanh Son Medicine and Trading Co.,Ltd (18 million VND); Mountain Biking Club in Bac Giang city (10 million VND).

Addressing the event, the FFC Chairman Tran Cong Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the support from the organizations, enterprises and kind-hearted people to the province in the peak period of Covid-19 prevention and control.

As of April 10, the FFC of all levels in Bac Giang province received more than 23.6 billion VND in cash, food, medical materials...from many organizations, businesses and philanthropists in and outside the province for the Covid-19 combat.

Vu Thi Vieng in Viet Huong village, Huong Son commune (Lang Giang district) donates her savings for the Covid-19 fight.

From April 9 – 12, many organizations and individuals in the province provided the medical materials and food for pandemic combat. In Regiment 831, Ha Thi Huong, a teacher at Sao Mai Kindergarten School (Bac Giang city) donated 100 handrub worth 15 million VND while the War Veteran Association in Tan Yen district donated food like egg, rice noodle, instant noodle, pumkin, guava... worth 6 million VND.

Besides, Vu Thi Vieng (83 years old) in Viet Huong village, Huong Son commune (Lang Giang district) presented her saving book of 5 million VND for the Covid-19 fight at the Military Command in the district.

A family in Bac Giang donates 500 million VND for Covid-19 fight
(BGO)-On 21 March, Nguyen The Cuong’s family, President of Thach Ban Group and his wife Nguyen Thi Ha Chau donated 500 million VND (21,560 USD) at the Headquarter of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province to support the fight against Covid-19.
