(BGO) - Responding to programme
“Internet connection and computers for students”, as of February 8, the
education sector in Bac Giang province called for donation of nearly 1.5
billion VND (66,000 USD) and 1,141 equipment (consisting of 743 smartphones,
153 Ipads, 130 laptops and 115 computers).
The local education sector quickly gifted the equipment to students for their online studying with priority taken to students at special difficult areas, nine and twelve graders.

Since September 2021, the educational sector has changed the teaching and studying method several times so as to suit to Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.
After Lunar New Year holiday, 191 educational establishments in the province have conducted both online and in-person teaching and studying formats. Some schools still detect infected students by screening test.
More than 15,600 students in the province lack of equipment for online study, mostly in two districts of Son Dong and Luc Ngan. To support them, apart from calling for direct donation, the Department of Education and Training has arranged shared equipment storage at ten districts and city which will be used flexibly to serve online study in case of disease outbreak.

RoK organisation presents computer lab to Hanoi students
The Global Civic Sharing (GCS) organisation of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on January 20 presented a computer lab worth 550 million VND (24,300 USD) to Lien Chau secondary school in Hanoi’s Thanh Oai district, on the occasion of the 30th founding anniversary of the Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties.

dramatically changed. However, due to different reasons, many childrens living
in poor, near poor families or orphans are till wishing to go to school. By
granting sponsorship scholarships, the study encouragement association at all
levels, political - social organizations and kind hearted people have joined
hands to share their difficulties to
help them realize the school dream.
Students in Bac Giang city win high prizes at SIMSO2021
(BGO) – Four
students at Tan My Primary School in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province)
attended and won high prizes at the National Round Online Exam of Siam
International Math And Science Olympics 2021 (SIMSO2021), including two gold
for Hoang Thu Huong and Cao Thi Hai Yen at class 4A2, one bronze for Hoang Tuan
Hung at class 5A5 and one Achiever Medal for Do Trong Bao in class 4A3.
