More than 500 purchasing points of lychee set up in Bac Giang

(BGO) – In June 6, Bac Giang lychees enjoyed good consumption with stable high price of 32 – 50,000 VND (1.37 – 2.14 USD) per kilograms and 42 – 65,000 VND (1.78 – 2.78 USD) per kilogram of early ripen lychee.

Saigon Co.op takes northern lychees around the country

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the province sold over 37,200 tonnes of lychees as of June 6, mostly to the southern markets and exported to China.

So far, some 44,000 tonnes of Vietnam lychee have been exported to Chinese market via Lang Son and Lao Cai border gates, most of which are originated from the northern province of Bac Giang.

Now, there are more than 260 Chinese tradesmen presenting locally to coordinate with Vietnamese businessmen to set up purchasing points of lychees. The province has totally of over 500 purchasing points mainly located at Luc Ngan and Luc Nam district.

(BGO) - Saigon Co.op and the Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Giang province jointly held the lychee consumption promotion programme into the distribution system of Saigon Co.op in Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of 3 June.

Early lychees sold at high price

(BGO) – The early ripen lychees in Tan Yen and Luc Ngan districts in Bac Giang province are enjoying good consumption with high selling price. As of June 1, the fruits were sold at 40,000 VND (1.72 USD) per kilogram in Phuc Hoa commune (Tan Yen district) and 60,000 VND (2.57 USD) per kilogram in Luc Ngan district.
