So far, Bac Giang has detected no new local patient for 21 days (8 out of 10 districts and city found no new Covid-19 case in community in 35 days).

Due attention is paid to treat Covid-19 patients. To date, 5,761 patients have been released from hospitals, accounting for 99.8 percent of the total cases. Now, only 12 patients are cured at the treatment facility in the provincial General Hospital, mostly with mild and no symptom.

To ensure safety for the frontline forces and recover the production, the province has recently prioritised to vaccinate these cases against Covid-19. Over 308,000 vaccine doses have been administered to 18 percent of the total local population, including nearly 200,000 doses for workers.

Apart from taking samples for testing in the businesses, screening among the community and implementing Covid-19 vaccination campaign to early create community immunity, Bac Giang has highly focused on controlling over the returners from pandemic struck localities, especially Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Southern provinces to protect the achievement of pandemic prevention and control.
