(BGO) – According to the provincial
Center of Industrial Encouragement and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry
and Trade), as of June 30, more than 60,000 tonnes of local lychee were
exported to Chinese market.
The quantity of lychee exported to China quickly increased in the last two weeks, accounting for 40 percent of the total consumed lychee in the province in which over 35,000 tonnes of Bac Giang lychee were exported via Lang Son border gate and over 25,000 tonnes via Lao Cai border gate.

The result was gained thanks to the great effort of the provincial authority at all levels in promoting the lychee consumption at traditional market of China such as the active support of the province to welcome the Chinese traders to buy the lychee in the areas, close coordination with Lang Son and Lao Cai provinces to arrange the competent staff to plan specific traffic route to lychee carriages and conduct the customs procedure at soonest time to ease the lychee export.
Apart from the traditional market of China, Bac Giang have exported 75 tonnes of lychees to Japan, 100 tonnes to Singapore, 36 tonnes to Australia, 81 tonnes to the US and 521 tonnes to the EU.

in Bac Giang province), the enterprises exporting Vietnamese fresh lychee to
Japan has informed that Luc Ngan lychee was sold out after few hours at the
supermarket chains in Tokyo capital and Osaka pefecture on the first selling
day (June 21).
