95.28 percent of the electors in Bich Dong and Nenh towns and 7 communes of Quang Chau, Van Trung, Tang Tien, Hong Thai, Tu Lan, Quang Minh and Ninh Son agreed to establish the wards in their localities.

In order to gain this result, the district people’s committee and related agencies have fostered propaganda to highlight the importance and positive impacts of establishing the township and its wards to reach consensus from the society. 

After collecting opinions from the people and completing the related contents, the people’s council of the communes and towns, the district people’s council and the provincial people’s council will organize meetings to review and give opinions upon the scheme.

Previously on March 26, the people’s committee of Viet Yen district organized to get feedbacks on the scheme “establishing Viet Yen township in northern province of Bac Giang and its wards” in all 17 communes and towns of the district with 134 voting centers. 50,605 households participated in the election with 140,172 voters aged from 18 (as of March 26, 2023).

Viet Yen, a township in expectation

The memory is not so long because the first time I came to the land of Quan ho in the north of Cau River just nearly 10 years ago.
