The project received a total investment capital of nearly 260 billion VND (over 11 million USD) from the city budget. Bac Giang City Construction Investment Project Management Board acted as the investor while Tan Thinh Construction Company Limited (Bac Giang City) was construction contractor.

Project items included prestressed reinforced concrete overpass with 7 spans, bridge length of more than 290 m, cross-section width of 18 m; the width of the frontage road surface of 11.5 m on each side; the vehicle's running distance of 7.5 m on each side, the safety strip of 0.5 m on each side, and the sidewalk of 3.5 m on each side.

Currently, the investor and related units are completing procedures to hand over and put the project into use in February. So it is completed about 4 months ahead of schedule.

The project is completed and put into use to reduce traffic conflicts with the railway; expand urban space, promote socio-economic development, helping complete general planning of Bac Giang city until 2035, with a vision to 2050.

Bac Giang strives to complete bridge and road connecting My An port - National Highway 31 - 1 before Lunar New Year
