Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has stressed that the Party and State always attach great importance to caring for revolutionary contributors and policy beneficiaries.
The Government leader made the statement while addressing a meeting in Hanoi on December 26 with former revolutionary soldiers from Hai Phong City who had been arrested or imprisoned during the resistance wars for national independence and freedom.

While welcoming the former soldiers on their visit to Hanoi, PM Phuc called on them to uphold the revolutionary spirit and loyalty to the Fatherland, Party and people, thus setting themselves as an example for their families and descendants to follow.
He expressed his hope that the revolutionary veterans will promote mutual support and solidarity in daily life while making further contributions to the development of Hai Phong City and the country in general.
He also spoke highly of achievements made by Hai Phong City and its people in facilitating socio-economic development and caring for policy beneficiaries, national contributors, war veterans, and disadvantaged people.

Invalid and Martyrs' Day July 27 (1947 - 2019), the People’s Committee in the
northern province of Bac Giang has mobilized the budget to visit and present
gifts to nearly 38,400 national contributors, each worth 500,000 VND (near 22
USD).

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has agreed to authorise the Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to submit a plan to present gifts to revolution contributors on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day to the State President for proposal.
