According to the Decision, the PM assigned the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee to announce and honor as regulation while instructing Lang Giang district to continue maintaining and enhancing the quality of the criteria, particularly focusing on production and environment to ensure the sustainability in new style rural building (NSRB).

Thus, after nearly 10 years implementation of NSRB (2011 - 2019), Lang Giang has become the second district in the province recognized the status of new style rural district.

Realizing the programme, the district has mobilized more than 1.9 trillion VND (82.2 million USD) to upgrade the rural infrastructure and cultural system..., helping build more spacious and beautiful rural appearance.

The district concretes nearly 1,160 kilometers of road, all schools are satisfied with national standard and rate of poor household is 3.2 percent.

Many huge concentrated farming models which operate under close linkage of chain production help increase the farmers’ income. Now, the average value per a unit of cultivation is estimated at 120.5 million VND (5,200 USD) per hectare while the average income in the rural area hits 41 million VND (1,700 USD) per person per year.

Cam Giang recognised as Hai Duong province’s first rural district

(BGO) – The 22nd Congress’s  Resolution of the Party Committee, tenure 2015 - 2020 in Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province set the target to obtain the new-style rural district status by 2020. After half of the execution path, 17 out of 17 communes met the standard. As the result, on November 8, 2018, the Government Prime Minister inked the decision recognizing Viet Yen as a new rural district.
