Sea Tourism Festivals underway in Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh
The Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival 2025 kicked off at the Seaside Square in Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa Province, marking the start of a vibrant summer tourism season in the coastal city.
The event is taking place upon the April 30 and May 1 holidays and is expected to attract tens of thousands of locals and tourists.

Under the theme ‘Aspiration to Shine’, the festival will include many special cultural, sports, and tourism activities to promote traditional cultural values, unique tourism products, and investment potential of Sam Son City.
The similar festivals also underway the same day in several districts in Ha Tinh Province, including Nghi Xuan, and Thach Ha, and Ky Anh Town.
In which, the event in Nghi Xuan District will feature a wide range of cultural, artistic, and sports activities, such as a men’s volleyball tournament, a pickleball tournament, and the inauguration of a cruise service on the freshwater canal in the Xuan Thanh sea area.
Visitors to the Hue Imperial City, located in the central city of Hue, will enjoy free nighttime access from April 26 to May 1, in celebration of National Reunification Day and International Workers’ Day, according to the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre.
Khau Vai love market, also known as Phong Luu market, established in 1919, officially opened its 2025 festival in Meo Vac Town, Ha Giang Province on April 22.
Promotions include room discounts of up to 50%, complimentary upgrades, dining offers, and spa services, especially during key occasions such as the April 30–May 1 holiday and Vietnam Family Day on June 28.
