Bac Giang secures 19 medals at National Pickleball Club Championship
BAC GIANG - The Bac Giang team claimed 19 medals, including seven golds, at the 2025 National Pickleball Club Championship, which concluded on April 20 at the Bac Giang Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province).
The tournament, held from April 16 to 20, brought together nearly 400 athletes from 40 clubs nationwide.

Competitors were divided into three age groups — under 35, 35 to 45, and over 46 — and battled for titles in five events of men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, men’s singles and women’s singles. Singles events were not held for players over 46.

Bac Giang fielded 91 athletes, participating in professional men’s doubles under 35 and all events of amateur divisions.
Over five days, the championship featured nearly 700 matches, showcasing high-paced and competitive play from professional and semi-professional athletes.

At the closing ceremony, organizers awarded 14 gold, 14 silver and 28 bronze medals across all amateur events.
Bac Gang’s players secured seven gold, three silver and nine bronze medals.
BAC GIANG- The VTV Phu Quoc marathon 2025 has been jointly organised by Vietnam Television, Kien Giang's Culture and Sports Department, Vietnam Athletics Federation, Lions Entertainment JSC and Vietcontent. The tournament lured 5,000 athletes competing in 4 categories including 5km,10km races, half-marathon (21.0975km) and full marathon (42.195km) with the total award of 650 million VND (25,023 USD).
BAC GIANG - On March 30, the 66th National Marathon and Long Distance Championship 2025 of Tien Phong Newspaper took place in Dong Ha City (Quang Tri province) with 7,000 participating athletes. Tien Phong Marathon is a major annual tournament, gathering outstanding runners of Vietnamese athletics in medium and long distances.
BAC GIANG - On March 25, the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund (under the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) coordinated with the Center for Science, Technology and Young Talent Development, Tien Phong Newspaper and sponsors to organize the "Enduring Passion" Award Ceremony.
BAC GIANG - On March 23 morning, the people’s committee of Son Dong district hosted the 2nd running race themed “Conquering Dong Cao plateau” in Van Son commune towards the 79th anniversary of Vietnam’s Sports Day (March 27, 1946-2025).
BAC GIANG- VnExpress hosted a ceremony on January 13 to present Runners of the Year Awards for individuals and collectives who made great contributions to running movement in 2024.
