Several supermarkets consume larger quantity of Bac Giang’s lychee
One month ago, Central Retail Group worked with the province and suppliers to make plan to consume and purchase local lychee in 2021 season. Because the province is struggling against the fourth Covid-19 outbreak, the Group will consider to put local lychee on shelves at soonest time.

Big C supermarket chain will start selling Bac Giang lychee next week. Last year, the supermarket sold 1,000 tonnes of Luc Ngan lychee. As schedule, this year they will consume the same or bigger quantity than last year’s figure.
Meanwhile, VinCommerce system said they are ready to sell farm produce to support the farmers amid the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic. Their officials discussed with Bac Giang province to connect and consume lychee two months ago.
This season, the retail system of Saigon Co.op planned to sell 400 to 500 tonnes of lychee. In case of prolong disease outbreak, the supermarket set up programme to open more channels to sell lychee at good price by “shaking hands” with e-commerce platforms to accelerate online sale.
Similarly, MM Mega Market told that Bac Giang lychee has been sold at all supermarkets under this chain across the nation. Together with direct selling method, the retailer also boosted up online distribution channel on their website and order hotline...
