Tet for the poor and AO victims

(BGO) – The  Red Cross Society in the northern province of Bac Giang has recently launched the movement “Tet  for the Poor and Agent Orange Victims”, lasting from November 1, 2019 till February 1, 2020. 

Accordingly, all chapters of the provincial Red Cross Society plan to call for various sources to present at least 33,000 gift packages (worth from 300 – 500,000 VND per set) to the poor and Agent Orange victims in the province.

The Republic of Korea General Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and the Korean Business Association in the southern province of Binh Duong presented 219 scholarships worth over 700 million VND (30,400 USD) to poor students with outstanding academic performance on October 7.
