At four editions of SEA Games, Nguyen Thi Huyen won nine gold medals. This season on home soil, she bagged a gold at women’s 400m, a silver at mixed 4x400m and another silver at women’s 400m hurdle events.

Winning excellent achievements at SEA Games 31, Nguyen Thi Huyen and Nguyen Thi Oanh are honored with Certificate of Merit by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

To date, Nguyen Thi Oanh has won gold medals at women’s 1,500m, 5,000m and 3,000 m hurdle events (also breaking her own SEA Games record made in 2019 in the Philippines). The Bac Giang athlete won eight gold medals at the SEA Games.

With outstanding achievement, two athletes were honored with Certificate of Merit by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism as the acknowledgement for their great contribution for Vietnam sport delegation at SEA Games and timely encouragement for athletics players in particular and other sports of Vietnam delegation in general.
