This will be the first VGA championship for amateur players in 2019, the association said on January 23. The tournament will see thrilling matches between two teams from the north and the south.

There will be six amateur golf tournaments in 2019.

From April 20-21, West Lakes Golf & Villa in southern Long An province will host the National Middle and Senior Golf Tournament, which offers opportunities for elder golfers to meet one another and improve their physical and mental health.

Meanwhile, the Junior Golf Open Championship, National Women’s Amateur Golf Open Championship, and National Golf Championship for Amateur Golfers will take place at Cam Ranh Golf Links in central Khanh Hoa province from June 4 to July 4 in response to the Visit Vietnam Year 2019. They are expected to lure the participation of a line-up of domestic and international golfers, contributing to the development of Vietnam’s sea and coastal tourism.

The Vietnam MatchPlay Championship will conclude the amateur golf tournaments in 2019. It is slated for December 26-29 at Yen Dung Golf Resort in northern Bac Giang province.

More than 140 Vietnamese and 100 foreign players will compete at the BRG Golf Hanoi Festival 2018 slated for October 2-4. 

 

Golf tournament of OVs in Czech attracts large number of players

As many as 320 overseas Vietnamese (OV) from 11 European countries have competed in the Czech Open Golf Tournament under the European Vietnamese Golf Association (EVGA) Tour Championship 2018. 

 

Inter-ministerial delegation works with Bac Giang Province about golf course and resort project

(BGO) - On March 26th, an interministerial delegation led by Nguyen Hoang Hai - Director General of Service Economy Department (under the Ministry of Planning & Investment), made a field trip and worked with Provincial People’s Committee about Bac Giang’s golf course and resort project. Golfers to compete at Long Thanh course in late December

The national antagonistic and professional golf championship will take place from December 27-30 at Long Thanh golf course in the southern province of Dong Nai, according to the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA).
