190 Chinese traders immigrated to buy Bac Giang lychee
According to Nguyen The Thi, Vice Chairman of Luc Ngan district People’s Committee, the local authority will pick up these traders and take them to the concentrated isolation sites at 8 motels and hotels in the district in line with the Covid-19 preventive regulations.

These sites are well equipped with accommodation condition and good security for their staying. After 21 days, the traders can be released to proceed lychee purchasing activities.
“Apart from these above mentioned traders, the People’s Committee in Luc Ngan district also invited some Chinese traders who have stayed at Southern provinces of Vietnam to buy fruits since February 2021 to buy lychee in the area. We will act as guarantee to ask for their visa extension at other location as regulation,” Thi said.
In 2021, Bac Giang province has 28,100 ha of lychee with estimated output of 180,000 tonnes. The harvest time is expected from May 10 to July 2021.
