Updated: 20:31, 27/02/2019
(BGO) – Targetting to a safe and scientific working environment, the Medical Station in My Ha commune (Lang Giang district, Bac Giang province) has built up and implemented the quality control model under 5 standards in order to help increase the working effectiveness and patients’ belief in healthcare service at the grassroots level.

According to the General Doctor Trinh Quang Manh, Head of the communal Medical Station, 5 standards mean 5 principles of screening, organization, clean, carefulness and readiness. Implementing these basic principles contributes to improving the operational effectiveness of the station.

The Medical Station in My Ha commune, Lang Giang district is always clean and beautiful.

“The most dramatic change after following the 5 standards is to shorten down the time to look for the medicines and deliver them to the patients, to use the medical materials as well as care for the sick people and keep the environment clean and beautiful. Moreover, it creates a scientific working environment and habit for the medical staff,” doctor Manh shared.

To gain this result, previously the station inspected and evaluated the procedure and quality of caring and treating the patients at the grassroots level; hence building a working plan, assigning specific tasks with the motto of “clear subject, specific task” such as cleaning time, making the material and equipment proposal list, arranging the medical devices and materials suitable to ease the usage with regular assessment.

Thus, any operation is done more quickly with a considerable increase in working efficiency. The Station’s staff also grows many kinds of herbal, flowers and ornamental plants to diversify and beautify the campus.

The Station conducts multifunctions of controlling and supplying the medicines for the patient at the community to treat the non-infectious disease; preventing the diseases, communicating to enhance the residents’ awareness in prevention and healthcare…

In order to avoid the overlapping work and overloaded patients, the Station has arranged the specific time for examining and supplying the medicine to each group of disease which helps reduce the patients’ waiting time down from 20 – 25 minutes.

Tran Van Ngoc (73 years old) in Trung Pho hamlet said: “Because I suffered from catastrophe, I must take regular examination and medicine. The doctors here are very enthusiastic and we do not need to wait for a long time.”

In 2018, the Station welcomed 5,000 patients to come for health checkup and treatment. The great effort helps the medical operation of My Ha commune top Lang Giang district as an outstanding model of the medical sector in implementing 5 standards at the communal level.
