With total area of over 4.5ha, the residential area is equipped with decorative and lighting system, clean water supply, underground waste water drainage, tree and lake together with 12 villa plots.

The Secretary of the Party Committee in Da Mai ward Nguyen Manh Thai shared with spacious plane, synchronous infrastructure with 90 percent of public space (tree and lake), the area is ideal for events with large gatherings such as sports festival, art exchange, boat racing festival or wedding.

Bac Giang city now has established nearly 100 urban and residential areas covering nearly 1,000 ha of land with total investment of nearly one trillion VND, 80 percent of which used public investment capital, the remaining ones were invested by non-budget capital.

Increasing the scale with modern and synchronous infrastructure

However, some urban and residential area projects have been delayed, adjusted or extended, typically new urban area in Tho Xuong ward, residential area besides Tan Tien Primary School, the city Southern urban area…

According to the competent agencies, the main reasons were difficult site work, Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, restricted financial capability, non-synchronous infrastructures…

Some residential areas in the city have yet to spend suitable land fund for tree campus, water surface and public projects while others did not meet the transfer standard with simple and incomplete infrastructures…

In 2022, the city continues implementing more than 70 urban and residential area projects with total area of over 800 ha, each project ranges from few to dozens of ha of land. The municipal authority strives to select investors for 15 urban area projects without using of public investment capital.

The Chairman of municipal People’s Committee Dang Dinh Hoan said the city will not execute scattered projects but plan huge scale urban areas and mobilize the businesses to invest in modern and synchronous infrastructures as well as utilities to serve the life of people and create highlights for urban landscape.

The local authorities, state and competent agencies in the city, ward and commune must focus on effective land clearance and expedite the investors to accelerate the project progress.

The leaders of some wards and communes where many urban and residential area projects have been executed like Da Mai, Tan Tien, Dinh Tri and Song Khe confirmed that the consultation role will be promoted in the upcoming time to plan the urban and residential areas.

Local authorities will cooperate with agencies and investors to spend suitable land fund for public items, tree campus and lake to build up green and beautiful urban landscape while ensuring better living environment for people.
