(BGO) – According to the Department of
Industry and Trade, for nearly one week, the early ripening lychee in Bac Giang
province exported via the border gates at Lang Son and Lao Cai province has
sharply increased with average quantity of 1,000 tonnes per day.
As of June 1, the province exported about 8,000 tonnes of early ripening lychees to China via the border gates at these provinces.
Nguyen Van Tho, Head of Lychee Export Assistance Group in the border gate at Lang Son province said the lychee export quantity via the border gates is forecast to strongly rise up to about 1,500 tonnes per day in the main harvest season in upcoming days.

At the border gate, the competent forces of customs, border guard, medical quarantine at the border gates have closely coordinated to each other and worked overtime to create utmost favourable condition to export lychee.
As schedule, this year Bac Giang strives to export about 47,000 tonnes of lychee to Chinese market. To ensure the product quality and meet the demand of the market, the local authority and competent agencies in the province continue instructing lychee growers to strictly follow the procedure of production, harvest and preservation as regulation.

Retail, MM Mega MarKet, Lotte, Big C, Saigon.coop, Vinmart and Vinmart+,
Fivimart and Citimart, Vincom...among others planned to consume about 20,000
tonnes of Bac Giang lychees.

(BGO) – The Vietnam Trade Office in Japan informed that 20 tonnes of Bac Giang's early-ripening lychees shipped to Japan on May 27 had been nearly sold out, at prices ranging from 350,000-500,000 VND (15.17-21.68 USD) per kg, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.

(BGO) – In spite of getting impacts by
Covid-19 pandemic, the early ripening lychee in Bac Giang province have been
smoothly consumed in domestic and exported to China and Japan. So far, more
than 5,000 tonnes of lychee have been sold with price of 15 – 35,000 VND (0.65 –
1.52 USD) per kg. Two lychee hubs of Tan Yen and Luc Ngan have strictly
controlled over the source of Covid-19 infection toward the target of an
effective and safe lychee production and consumption.
