Bac Giang lychees exported to Japan, US

Updated: 16:17, 28/05/2021
(BGO) – The Vietnam Trade Office in Japan informed that 20 tonnes of Bac Giang's early-ripening lychees shipped to Japan on May 27 had been nearly sold out, at prices ranging from 350,000-500,000 VND (15.17-21.68 USD) per kg, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.

In addition to the outstanding quality and appearance favored by local people, the result was attributable to the Vietnam Trade Office’s cooperation with enterprises in this country to create online channels to sell Bac Giang lychees. Thanks to that, Bac Giang lychees are known by a large number of Japanese people.

Lychees are arrived at Japan at noon of May 27.

The entire lychee area is cared for according to the right process, ensuring the standards for export and domestic consumption.
