Bac Giang early ripening lychee exported to 8 countries and region
This season productivity is estimated at 45,500 tonnes of early ripening lychee in the province, mostly in the districts of Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Lang Giang, Son Dong and Yen The.

Apart from domestic market, the early ripening lychees have been sold at 8 countries and region, including China, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, the US, Malaysia, Singapore and EU with total quantity of nearly 20,000 tonnes.
Luc Ngan is the leading district with the sold quantity of more than 22,000 tonnes while Tan Yen district sold over 15,000 tonnes and Luc Nam consumed about 9,000 tonnes.

Of which, more than 8,900 tonnes (over 87 percent of exported quantity) were exported to China; 1,175 tonnes to Cambodia, Malaysia and Laos; 5 tonnes to EU.
Thanks to favourable weather condition, the province daily sells nearly 5,000 tonnes of lychees, including nearly 3,000 tonnes from Luc Ngan district with the price of 13,000 – 32,000 VND per kg.
