The event was co-hosted by Duong Van Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Giang provincial Party Committee (PPC) and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies and his counterpart Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh provincial Party Committee (PPC) and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies.

Addressing the meeting, Bac Giang PPC Secretary Duong Van Thai pressed on the positive development with many impressive results of two provinces after re-establishment in 1997.

Though the administrative boundary was divided, the Party, authority and people of two provinces always maintain and build the solidarity tradition and deep emotion. Also, two provinces have implemented various meaningful cooperative and practical linkage in all fields toward mutual development.

The representatives highly agreed on bilateral cooperative orientation in the upcoming time. Two localities continue collaboration, research and exchange of information in building and executing the provincial planning in 2021 – 2030 period with the vision to 2050 so as to ensure the connective, synchronous and proper features, especially in the fields of industry, commerce, service and transport.

Besides, two provinces further discuss the experience of digitalization on three pillars of digital government, digital economy and digital society with focal point to accelerate the administrative reform, improve the business and investment environment, enhance the provincial competitiveness.

Closer collaboration will be made in trade promotion, investment attraction, especially in industrial field to establish hi-tech industrial area in the North while boosting up trade and tourism promotion, socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security.

Two PPC Secretaries urged the departments and sectors to actively consult the Standing Board and the Party Designated Representation of the People’s Committee in two provinces to lead and direct good implementation of the cooperative programme.

Bac Giang surpasses digitalization target of valid administrative procedure

(BGO) – Bac Giang province has digitalized 21,327 results of handling valid administrative procedure from the departments and sectors under the provincial People’s Committee, accounting for 100 percent of the plan set by the province and surpassing 50 percent of the central target.
