Though the province had to implement duo task of preventing and controlling the pandemic as well as stabilizing the life and developing the economy, with the motto of “Leaving no one behind” the FFC at all level in the province actively communicated, called for and donated to the Action month for the poor in 2019 and Social Welfare Programme in 2020 with total donation of over 59 billion VND (2.5 million USD).

The donated amount helped build and repair the houses, visit and present Tet gifts and support production for the poor and near poor households; present gifts to impoverished students with good academic results; organize humanitarian health checkup to share the difficulties with the poor and help them gradually stabilize the life.

Particularly in 2020, the FFA at all levels in the province called for “The whole nation join hands in Covid-19 combat” and received 43 billion VND (1.8 million USD) in cash and kind.

He called for all levels, sectors, organization, agencies, associations, enterprises, kind-hearted people and Bac Giang’s people living in foreign countries and other provinces to continue donating to support the poor via the Fund for the poor and Social Welfare Programme with the spirit of “Join hands for the poor – No one be left behind” and practical activities.

At the launching ceremony, 37 organizations, localities and businesses registered to donate over 67 billion VND (2.89 million USD) to the provincial Fund for the poor while directly donating 140 million VND to the Fund.

At the event, the participants donated over 43 million VND to the flood victims in the central region.
